About Ballpark!

Ballpark is an indie band born out of Colorado State University. Founded by Kai Urbany during his freshman year, the band took shape when he met fellow musicians Jason Kaplan, Max Frost, and Sydney Ambrosia in Parmelee Hall. Avery Smithen joined the band shortly after introduced by Sydney Ambrosia.

With a shared passion for music, the band has navigated the highs and lows of the college experience. Their journey culminated in the release of their debut album, “See What Sticks,” on August 23rd of their junior year, showcasing an album that reflects their growth and resilience.

Ballparkā€™s music is a blend of catchy melodies and introspective lyrics, embodying the spirit of youth and the power of friendship. As they continue to grow and play shows, they invite listeners to join them, celebrating every moment along the way.

The image bellow is from one of our defining house shows that we played at the end of our Sophmore year. It was one the most energetic and engaging shows we had played up to that point where we performed all of the original music we had written. It was the show that solidified our band in Fort Collins history.
